Our Prayer Room

Our prayer room open for 6 months, 5 days a week, 6 hours a day. Practicing Matthew 6:5-6

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

For several years we have set aside our prayer room for intentional, private prayer on special occasions only, just a few weeks each year. But now is the time to change that. 

Until the end of this year, our prayer room will be open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm for anyone to book a 1 hour prayer time. In our prayer room you'll find:

• a space that make it easy to enjoy time with God,

• practical ways to guide your prayer time

• encouragement from the prayers of others (eg. on the art or blackboard walls)

• prayer point for our church community

It's easy to book a slot, and the room will be open for you when you arrive. Just park in the main (rear) carpark off Liffey Street, and enter the building via the hallway entry (to "Reception"). Any issues, call 0423 958 973.

Note: the prayer room is also available outside of 'office hours' (9-3, Mon-Fri) but you will require an access card and security code for this. To arrange this, please contact facillities@thebillabong.org.au.
